| There are many comments for the ISO9000 world. This time I introduce
two typical comments to me on this web-site to help some ones who
have some unfavorable troubles with the assessments encourage installing
efficient management system.
1. From Mr. A
I know you by reading your translation of gthe case Against ISO9000h
written by John Seddon. The book has given me a drastic turning point
for my thought of ISO9000.
Every year my company has received surveillance assessments and every
time I have had disagreeable feeling after the assessments. My company
has paid high money for the assessments, but assessors have said whatever
they felt.
Those assessments are like governmental spot inspections.
And the assessments have brought any significant changes in my company.
During the time I have wished to get off such bad situations and now
I find the solution by you.
I wish for you keep on bringing your significant information for
ISO9000 to me.
Thank you.
2. From Mr. B
At present I am working at an electronic parts maker.
When I read through your articles on ISO9000 in a monthly magazine,
your articles cleaned the fuzz about ISO9000 out of my head.
In 1994, as the management representative I made Quality manual.
At that time I felt complexity of documentation of ISO9000, but made
heavy documents as instructed by an ISO9000 consultant who said the
heavy documentation was requirements of the Standard.
After that I was transferred to a branch factory in Malaysia and
the factory challenged to get ISO9000 registration. To my surprise
a consultant in Malaysia was so flexible that wasteful documentation
could be avoided. The manual had become a half of the Japanese one.
Thus I often hear problems of heavy wasteful documentation which
sometimes suffocate factor of business activities in other companies
and one of the main causes of problems is responsible for certification
bodies in Japan.
In such a situation your articles in the web-site give a great hope
for me to make a truly effective quality manual of my company.
Thank you.
