ISO9001: 2000 says in 4.2.3 clause
that records are a special type of document and shall be controlled
according to the requirements given in 4.2.4. It is an irrational sentence
and is no need, because in ISO9001: 2000 the words of gdocumenth and
g recordh are properly used.
But as for ISO14001 revision, in spite of its main purpose of consistency
between ISO9001: 2000, the confusion with gdocumenth and g recordh show
no consistency.
I have already mentioned the problem taking examples (refer to ISO14001
corner and Weekly News April 1w).
Now I summarize in the following table all recording requirements
in ISO14001 revision to avoid the confusion for users of Standards.
The table shows wandering states of revision processes between gdocumenth
and g recordh.
In conclusion, the proper use of gdocumenth and g recordh is done
in CD and recent Annex A.
