body for its assessment for ISO9001: 2000 registration.
１．Whole story of the trouble
①Last October Mr. S, sales man of the body, came to the company and
it later sent the contract.
②At the beginning of November, an Email from Mr. S came. It told that
Mr. H was assigned as an assessor and his assessment schedule. Soon
the company required the assessor’s background. But it took some time.
③At the end of November finally an Email that informed the background
came.
But the information had no clear description of qualification of lead
assessor. Then again the company requested clear evidence of the qualification.
④Several days after, its answer came. It told he had no qualification
of lead assessor but soon he would get the qualification. But there
was no explanation when he surely got qualification. Then again the
company questioned the scheduled date of getting his qualification.
⑤At the beginning of December Mr. S answered the question that the
date was not clear. The company surprised at its remiss in observing
right assessment.
⑥Several days after Mr. S Emailed that the assessor would become a
lead assessor in January and if the company wanted change of an assessor
he could do the arrangement.
２． Complaint for the body by the company
Attached the above whole story, the company made a following claim
to the manager of the body.
“We anticipated your right assessment, but the whole story betrayed
our anticipation.
It took about two months to get for us the actual qualification status.
Please resolve the situation.”
３．Answer from the manager
He apologized the remiss and proposed to change the assessor to Mr.
T, lead assessor. The company accepted the proposal. But there was
no apology from Mr. S.
