Mr. A: Design reviews (DR) in 7.3.4 clause of ISO9001:2000 do not hit home with me.
Now my company does the review as shown in the following table. But there are some cases that simpler reviews are applied.

Nishizawafs comment: The 7.3 clause in ISO9001:2000 requires management activities for core design activities written in the far right column.
With given requirements the design activities are performed. But during design processes sometimes their processes are apt to get sidetracked. The purpose of gDesign reviewsh is to check design processes to prevent such deviations. It can be said one of in-process inspection for design processes. Sometimes it will be too late to prevent deviations, if gDesign reviewsh are not done at suitable stages.
The point of difference between design verification and design review is that the former is done for design inputs and the latter is done for all stages of design processes including validation with representatives of functions concerned.
Your company basically does design reviews at three stages, but you may omit some stages depending on complexity of products under design processes. It must be arranged in design planning as required in 7.3.1 clause.
